Akira Taue vs. Toshiaki Kawada from AJPW 1992

This was a 1992 Champion Carnival match.

This was a very good match. Taue was on point early, as he jumped Kawada time and time again before Kawada could even get to the ring or get his shirt off. Kawada was eventually able to recover, and he wisely grounded the pace down to near halt as he evened things up. He was never able to do a significant amount of damage though, and Taue was able to put him away cleanly in the end after a relentless assault of offense. Taue really was so fucking great. (***3/4)
