This was for Lee’s CMLL World Lightweight Championship.
These guys went kind of nuts here. They didn’t work an insane pace where you actually wonder how they pull it all off. They still tried to kill each other plenty though, and these guys specialize in legalized wrestling murder.
The biggest issue holding down the match was that they just went way too damn long. The environment wasn’t electric enough to justify it, and their pace did not really gel with it all that well.
This was just solid overall, because you know they could have done much better. Dragon Lee won after a bridging Regal-plex. (***)
