While watching Casas do his thing is basically always great fun, Hechicero is someone that I’ve never really understood the appeal of in my limited sampling of him. He seems to move around the ring as if he is think about everything single step for fear of forgetting how to walk. This detracts from his matches a great deal and stands out even more while he’s in the ring with a genius like Casas. This was still a pretty solid bout though thanks to Casas. It did not light my world on fire or anything, but it was a fun watch. Hechicero won two falls to one. (***)
