Story of the Match: Well, this is a pre-show opener anywhere in the world. Much like your standard Chikara tag match, each tecnico was worked over for a time. They did an extended back and forth sequence after the three heat segments. The most notable thing about it was a Blaster McMassive tope con hello. It was in fact awesome. I’m surprised WWE has not signed him yet. There was an unnecessarily clunky finish. Oleg went to use his helmet as a weapon, but Blind Rage showed up and stopped him. Mantis then tapped Oleg out with the Chikara Special.
Analysis: The clunky finish threw some shade on what was otherwise an overachieving main event. It would be one thing if Blind Rage was nullifying some outside interference, but his inclusion in the proceedings just did not need to happen.
