Jushin Liger vs. Roderick Strong from WrestleReunion 2012

Neither guy could get a firm advantage for a while. Roddy finally cut him off after a rope-assisted backstabber. Roddy then worked him over. Liger made his comeback after a release German. Roddy fought back and got the advantage again. Liger came back and hit the Palm Strike twice in a row and then a superplex. Liger got a nearfall with a Liger Bomb. Roddy came back and actually defeated Liger with the Gibson Driver. Wow.

Much like the last match, they took me off guard with how hard they ended up working, but I never felt terribly invested.

Match Rating: **3/4
