This was for Bryan’s ROH World Championship.
This was slightly more interesting than your average Bryan defense from this point in time. Yes, it was unnecessarily long. Yes, it was unnecessarily methodical. The triple threat nature was a welcome change though and added some intrigue to the proceedings.
With all that, this was still largely not all that good. The only notable sequence was when they built to a spot NOT happening. BJ and Jacobs teased the powerbomb into the crowd again, but they didn’t end up going through with it. BJ got eliminated first, and then Bryan eventually put Jacobs away to retain the title. (**3/4)
